I have proven yet again that I am not to by trusted with this whole blog thing. What can I say, I’m a work in progress. Here are a few more pieces on which to feast your eyes. Please leave your comments or questions. xoxoxoxo

Alright so the truth of the matter is I am not very good at keeping my blog up to date, a habit I hope to rectify. On that I note I will also be re-purposing this blog. I will be launching my website by the end of the summer and will therefore no longer require this space to show off my artwork. Instead I will use it to show off other people’s work instead of my own. I am privileged to know many artists, writers, musicians, filmmakers, and others who are just plain amazing and they deserve acknowledgement. Until then here is some of the work that I have done over the past months.

I litterally finished this minutes ago and am now gladly sharing it with the world.
I have to go now but will be back soon with more work and words.
Cheers,
Kristy
This could be more interesting I know, but I’m playing catch-up a little here so bare with me.
more to come…
These are are few scans of some sketchbook pages. The originals were created with ballpoint pen and whole lot of boredom. Subsequently they were used as illustrations in a Resource Manual for the Leadership Camp that I volunteer for and help organize throughout the year. Here are some example of some illustrations from when I was in school. Just thought that I’d include them here, for posterity, I guess. These pieces don’t follow any kind of theme or set style, thus is the fun of school projects. I’ll do my best to explain what the background of each piece is…without being to boring

This illustration was done for an assignment that’s requirements were only to create a non-traditional sequential narrative. This is one of my favourites from my school days.

This another on of my favourites. It’s an illustration of a scene from The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.

This is an illustration that I did for an organization that I volunteer for. Camp Quality is a summer camp for kids with cancer and it’s the two best weeks of my whole year. Thankfully I not only get to spend time with some really great kids I also get to do art while I’m there.
